I’ve been very fortunate to have the opportunities I’ve had at both the industry level and in the local filmmaking community. It’s a point of pride to be able to create and work on well-executed short films in the East Bay, and I had the good fortune to edit remotely on some of the biggest shows and theatrical releases of the past five years. That range of experience goes into everything I do, whether it’s a short I’ve put the better part of three years into developing, or a piece of short-form content for your business, podcast, or channel.
I’m a graduate of San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and a recent graduate with a Master of Fine Arts in Cinema as of December 2025. I have produced two films and directed a third, the latter of which has screened across ten festivals in four countries. I am in production on two shorts: ‘Holy Toledo,’ a documentary following the last two home games of the Oakland Athletics at the Coliseum, and ‘A Prayer from the Blackbox,’ a hand-drawn 2D animated film about a robot who must carry on their builder’s work as a town’s local monk. Both projects are deeply resonating to me, and I hope to submit to festivals for both by Q3 of 2027.
My industry experience stems mostly from working with Big Picture Entertainment as an Assistant Editor and Asset Manager, through which I worked on well over a hundred different major motion pictures and shows for streaming in my time there. For four years, I was responsible for handling every weekend shift, working independently to handle the needs of producers and clients that otherwise would have the support of the full AE team on a given weekday. I have experience with finishing preps, overcuts, pairing stems, social resizes, developing documentation for workflows, creating rough cuts out of available dailies, and sending cuts and packages to clients via various file-share sites.
Since October of 2023, I have worked in the freelance post-production space, working alongside a variety of creative and commercial clients on content for web, social content, commercials, portfolio reels, long-form videos and more. My active clients are The Downballot Podcast, for whom I have edited over one-hundred hour-long episodes.
In working with me, you’re hiring a workhorse editor with half a decade of industry-level experience operating in post-production for theatrical marketing, and a post-production specialist with over twelve years of technical expertise across a wide range of software. I have a home editing suite and years of experience working at the highest levels via remote setup, and I am also readily available to accept on-site work in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
